Ini merupakan kesalahan terbesar dari MAS. AirAsia bukan merupakan pesaing mereka saat ini, kalau mau diperhatikan secara cermat, MH menyediakan pasar untuk full service, sedangkan QZ menyediakan pasar untuk low fare. Di sini merupakan 2 jenis pasar yang benar-benar berbeda. Jadi Sungguh bodoh untuk melakukan perang seperti ini.Perang yang benar-benar menatik merupakan perang antara AirAsia SIngapore dan Tiger Airways.
